Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve equipment and process challenges at Murata's ASEAN production sites, while conducting market and technology research to support continuous improvement.
- Implement and standardize best practices for production equipment and systems across the organization.
- Provide support for equipment design, modification, and fabrication in control and software domains, including electrical hardware, PLC programming, and PC-based software.
- Develop and implement systems such as data utilization platforms and vision systems to enhance production efficiency.
- Manage installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, software engineering or relevant engineering.
- Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and high-level programming languages such as C/C++, VB, and Python.
- Flexibility and readiness to travel on short- and mid-term assignments to Murata's production sites and partner vendors across ASEAN, Japan, and China.
- Experience in image processing, artificial intelligence (AI), or IT-related skills is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Japanese and/or Chinese languages is considered beneficial to liaise with different stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
