Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contract specs, regulatory, and classification standards.
  • Prepare and manage technical queries (TQF) and engineering variation orders (EVO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in piping engineering
  • Preferably experienced in offshore or shipyard projects (e.g., rig building, shipbuilding)
  • Experience in FPSO projects (both topsides and marine scopes) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of piping design, planning, and engineering workflows
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, and classification society regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)
  • Experience with 2D drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Skilled in 3D model review software (e.g., Navisworks)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling applications such as SmartPlant, AVEVA, Cadmatic, etc.
