Key Responsibilities
- Plan and purchase material requirements to ensure uninterrupted material flow for ongoing production and new product introductions (NPI)
- Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP systems and supporting documentation
- Monitor, identify, and resolve production material shortages and supply constraints
- Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers
- Place purchase orders and closely follow up with contract manufacturers (CMs) to support sales demand and fulfillment
- Monitor CM production schedules and proactively address risks impacting material availability
- Accurately enter purchase transactions and collect historical and current data for analysis and reporting
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives through volume leverage, process improvements, and strategic negotiations
- Monitor market trends and implement strategies to mitigate cost volatility and supply risk
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field required
- 5+ years of procurement experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
