Key Responsibilities
- Sell and handle a broad range of peripheral intervention devices by building rapport with established Endovascular customers (Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, OT staff, cardiac cath labs staff, MMD in hospitals)
- Responsible for the achievement of the sales and profit objectives of a specified territory or product, promote penetration and increase the market share for company key products
- Conduct in-service product presentations and training programs to ensure the customers are well-trained
- Reduce stocks scrap rate in the company and responsible for inventory management of territory
- Gather market intelligence and information from your territory to formulate marketing ideas for your territory
- Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping, rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc.
- Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per plan to ensure expenses budget is contained
- Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible
- Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Biomedical Engineering
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a Sales role or in cath lab preferred
- Experience gained in multinational medical device companies will be an advantage, ideally experience in the field of peripheral intervention
- Nurse in Cath Lab or having Operating Theatre background will be an advantage
- Able and willing to work in surgical/Operating Theatre environment and support emergency cases (OT/on weekends) if necessary
