Key Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory advice to financial services clients (banks, payments, Fintech) on risk, regulations, and compliance matters.
- Conduct compliance reviews and internal audits, formulating recommendations to enhance adherence to regulatory requirements and market practices.
- Advise on licensing, regulatory reporting, compliance framework development, and operationalizing regulatory change.
- Support financial services audit engagements concerning regulatory and compliance reporting.
- Assist in building Compliance Outsourcing Services.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to formulate new market services, such as regulatory technology platforms.
- Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities and formulating service proposals.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, including communicating scopes of work, findings, and industry updates.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of banking regulatory or external audit experience.
- Experience gained in a Big 4 audit firm, regulator, or financial institution is required.
- Proven ability to advise on risk management across technology, finance, data analytics, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks within the financial services industry.
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate complex findings clearly.
