Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains and evaluates effectiveness of the organization’s EHS Management System (EHSMS) by managing EHS administrative processes
  • Identifies training needs and designs and conducts training effectively
  • Supports EHS maintenance based on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, RBA and other customer requirements
  • Supports internal and external EHS audit and follows up corrective measures with relevant stakeholders
  • Uses a range of WSH tools and resources to implement WSH programs and drive compliance
  • May be expected to supervise a WSH team and work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish work
  • Communicates importance of WSH program compliance to team members of other departments
  • Supports and conducts workplace risk assessment and environmental aspect impact and related training
  • Conducts incident investigation and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in WSHO related field
  • At least 2-5 years working experience as WSHO officer
  • Obtain at least Level C WSH Officer course
  • Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active
  • Positive attitude in challenging work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate effectiveness of program
  • Good knowledge of local authorities’ requirements such as NEA, SCDF, SPF, PUB
  • Workplace safety and health management with additional environmental and fire safety knowledge or similar field preferred
  • Ability to perform multi-tasking and able to take stress due to fast paced environment
  • Able to travel overseas when necessary
