Key Responsibilities

Maintains and evaluates effectiveness of the organization’s EHS Management System (EHSMS) by managing EHS administrative processes
Identifies training needs and designs and conducts training effectively
Supports EHS maintenance based on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, RBA and other customer requirements
Supports internal and external EHS audit and follows up corrective measures with relevant stakeholders
Uses a range of WSH tools and resources to implement WSH programs and drive compliance
May be expected to supervise a WSH team and work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish work
Communicates importance of WSH program compliance to team members of other departments
Supports and conducts workplace risk assessment and environmental aspect impact and related training
Conducts incident investigation and reporting

Requirements

Degree in WSHO related field
At least 2-5 years working experience as WSHO officer
Obtain at least Level C WSH Officer course
Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active
Positive attitude in challenging work environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate effectiveness of program
Good knowledge of local authorities’ requirements such as NEA, SCDF, SPF, PUB
Workplace safety and health management with additional environmental and fire safety knowledge or similar field preferred
Ability to perform multi-tasking and able to take stress due to fast paced environment
Able to travel overseas when necessary
