Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive in the planning and execution (including training) of the Vocational Qualification Programme (VQP).
  • Conduct Rail Operating Procedure & Person-In-Charge/Possession Master (PIC/PM) training.
  • Assist in other Ops Training under the SSO VQP program.
  • Coordinate training logistics, materials, and scheduling to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Provide on-site support during training sessions and assessments.
  • Work closely with the Ops Support Training team, SSO management and PDO to ensure compliance with STEL Commuter Obligations (CO).
  • Monitor refresher training schedules and attendance.
  • Support the implementation of continuous learning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate training records and competency tracking for Operations staff.
  • Support the development and facilitation of training content and materials.
  • Ensure timely documentation and reporting of training outcomes.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned to support the broader Operations team.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Prior experience in training coordination or operations support is preferred.
  • Diploma in Engineering or at least 5 to 8 years in railway operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and training management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Railway-related knowledge.
  • Good Communication & Presentation Skills.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Power BI (added advantage).
