Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive in the planning and execution (including training) of the Vocational Qualification Programme (VQP).
- Conduct Rail Operating Procedure & Person-In-Charge/Possession Master (PIC/PM) training.
- Assist in other Ops Training under the SSO VQP program.
- Coordinate training logistics, materials, and scheduling to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide on-site support during training sessions and assessments.
- Work closely with the Ops Support Training team, SSO management and PDO to ensure compliance with STEL Commuter Obligations (CO).
- Monitor refresher training schedules and attendance.
- Support the implementation of continuous learning initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records and competency tracking for Operations staff.
- Support the development and facilitation of training content and materials.
- Ensure timely documentation and reporting of training outcomes.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned to support the broader Operations team.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Prior experience in training coordination or operations support is preferred.
- Diploma in Engineering or at least 5 to 8 years in railway operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and training management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Railway-related knowledge.
- Good Communication & Presentation Skills.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Power BI (added advantage).
