Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the network is performing normally by using network monitoring tools
- Ensure that all incidents reported are supported on timely manner
- Travel to remote sites for troubleshooting and support as needed
- Perform timely escalation to 3rd vendors for hardware, software and telco related problems
- Support service requests for operational changes related to load balancers, network switching and routing, firewall rules, update of security policies in security devices
- Perform firmware upgrades for network and security devices
- Check and react to security events on intrusion detection and prevention system, WAF
- Check, troubleshoot and log ticket to Cloud Service Providers for networking components deployed in Azure, AWS
- Analyze network performance issues and recommends optimization options for implementation
Requirements
- Singaporean with Singaporean Spouse (if applicable), due to Security Clearance requirement
- 3 years of relevant hands‑on experience
- Willing to work on 24x7 operational shifts
- Experience with network monitoring and support of Cisco Routing and Switching, Network load balancers, Checkpoint or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Familiar with ITIL best practices and processes
- Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is preferred
- Experience with Software‑Defined Networking (SDN): Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Juniper Contrail, SD‑WAN
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and performance optimization
- Knowledge of VPN and remote access solutions (Cisco AnyConnect, Palo Alto GlobalProtect)
