Key Responsibilities
- Perform tasks for the CoE's and Cluster IT project/portfolio management oriented work efforts and assignments, ensures that goals and objectives are met within time, scope and resource requirements.
- Applies standard IT methods, knowledge and CEVA standards and practices to tasks and situations; contributes to overall work effort by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments, completing project specifications.
- Responds to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response. Uses standard analytical tools and rules to determine root cause and resolve the broad range of application problems.
- Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues; Follows project and software development methodologies and processes and may assist in aligning the process with project needs.
- Supports single business/technical applications. (R&M run & maintain activities).
- May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data. Generally this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop necessary 'work arounds'.
- Understands compliance and regulatory rules, ensures compliance as directed by manager.
- May provide on-call support for assigned functional areas on a limited basis.
- Ability to accommodate flexible work schedules to meet support levels for globally deployed applications.
- Works directly with CEVA business and other IT teams to understand, diagnose and resolve requests for assistance.
- Participate in tuning, monitoring, and testing of applications.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level.
- Desirable: University or higher education degree in IT Management or Supply Chain Management, or comparable experience in the Logistics industry.
- ITIL Foundation.
- 0-5 years of technical experience.
- Experience in implementation and delivery of services or projects.
- Experience in relevant technical or business work area.
- Knowledge in functional domain or technology.
- Good level of numeracy.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to prioritize activities based on defined guidelines.
- Good team working skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Java/JSP/Python (Familiarity Java).
- Kibana/OpenSearch Log Analysis.
