Key Responsibilities
- Validate, control, and approve technical documents including Manufacturing Specifications, Conditions of Supply, Method of Manufacture, FAIR, and Process Data Cards.
- Maintain and achieve technical delegations from Rolls-Royce Design Authority as required by business needs.
- Participate in, plan, and/or conduct annual risk assessments related to External Supply Chain capabilities and technical performance.
- Lead and conduct regular process technical audits (e.g., Process Maintenance Audits, New Approval Request Audits) according to Rolls-Royce specifications.
- Provide technical support for materials processing and special process manufacturing issues within the external supply chain.
- Support and influence improvement initiatives actively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree or equivalent technical qualification in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a strong interest in Materials Science.
- Demonstrated 5-10 years of working knowledge or a strong interest in engineering, materials processing, and special process methods.
- Ability to apply logical, analytical, and lean thinking to complex technical problems and tactical business requirements.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to influence diverse internal and external stakeholders in the global supply chain.
- Familiarity with AS/EN/JISQ 9100 / 9120 requirements.
