Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate, and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new cybersecurity and network solutions to enhance security posture
- Coordinate with external vendors throughout the solution deployment lifecycle from selection to post-implementation
- Perform maintenance and configuration of security systems including IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and antimalware
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to address weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans to contain and recover from cyberattacks
- Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards in compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001
- Collaborate with IT teams and developers to integrate security into all aspects of the infrastructure and software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or network engineering role
- Hands-on experience in configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise routers and switches
- Proficiency with network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, and wireless technologies
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks
- Experience with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX
