Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply novel AI and ML models for analyzing mass spectrometry data (LC/MS and MSI)
- Analyze large multiplex tissue images and spatial transcriptomics data collected from cancer patients
- Perform computational algorithm implementation and benchmarking
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact scientific journals
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of biologists, physicians, and pathologists
- Develop and manage the HistoPath Analytics (HPA) Platform and ImmunoAtlas for automated data management and visualization
- Plan and lead new research projects for senior-level candidates
Requirements
- PhD or Master in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related biological field
- Proficiency in Python and R programming languages
- Strong background in AI/ML modelling, statistics, and data analysis and visualization
- Required experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for image analysis
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology, cancer biology, metabolism, and immunology
- Experience in analyzing metabolomics and/or multiplex tissue image is highly desirable
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills for scientific manuscript preparation
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting
