Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, and chillers
- Respond to and solve system issues and production interruptions for mechanical facilities equipment
- Plan, design, and lead mechanical engineering projects including new construction and system upgrades
- Perform capacity tracking and planning for all site mechanical systems
- Enforce environmental safety health (EHS) policies and standard operating procedures with risk assessments
- Utilize computer-based software to document maintenance work orders, equipment history, and project tracking
- Apply quality tools such as 8D and 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting and incident investigation
- Initiate and lead energy savings and sustainability projects to improve site efficiency
- Manage procurement tasks for facilities system equipment upkeep and spare parts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
- Basic engineering understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and thermodynamics
- Ability to perform automation using MS Office suite and Excel VBA is a must
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environments
- Design and engineering background in HVAC or exhaust systems is preferred
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills with effective communication abilities
- Familiarity with sustainability efforts regarding electricity, waste, and water reduction is a plus
- Internship or professional experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred
