Key Responsibilities
- Support global customs valuation analysis in alignment with internal transfer pricing (TP) structure.
- Review import/export documentation to ensure global compliance with local and international customs regulations.
- Liaise with global customs brokers and authorities to resolve clearance issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain and validate origin documentation for FTA claims.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customs processes and reduce global import duties.
- Assist with ACVA engagement and review annual reports, including voluntary amendments.
- Prepare for and support ad-hoc inquiries and audits conducted by global customs authorities.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in customs compliance or international trade.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or Customs.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, and FTAs (e.g., USMCA, EU FTAs, ASEAN FTAs).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, legal, and finance teams.
