Key Responsibilities

  • Support global customs valuation analysis in alignment with internal transfer pricing (TP) structure.
  • Review import/export documentation to ensure global compliance with local and international customs regulations.
  • Liaise with global customs brokers and authorities to resolve clearance issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain and validate origin documentation for FTA claims.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize customs processes and reduce global import duties.
  • Assist with ACVA engagement and review annual reports, including voluntary amendments.
  • Prepare for and support ad-hoc inquiries and audits conducted by global customs authorities.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in customs compliance or international trade.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or Customs.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, and FTAs (e.g., USMCA, EU FTAs, ASEAN FTAs).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, legal, and finance teams.
