Key Responsibilities
- Understand and ensure compliance with contract specifications, including marine class, regulatory requirements, piping, special items, and valve material specifications.
- Review and analyze P&IDs and piping routines to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and Material Take-Off (MTO) reports.
- Evaluate technical proposals from vendors, providing thorough feedback. Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations to support procurement decisions.
- Monitor the procurement process to ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules. Track piping material usage, surplus inventory, and warehouse balances.
- Review vendor certified documentation (VCD) for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with vendors, discipline leads, procurement teams, production, and commissioning departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests as required, ensuring all technical and quality requirements are met.
- Proactively manage piping procurement activities with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Min 5 years of experience in piping engineering or related activities.
- Experience in Offshore/Shipyard projects, including rig and shipbuilding is preferred.
- Familiarity with FPSO projects, covering both topsides and marine systems is preferred.
