Key Responsibilities
- Influencing cross-VP organizations to shape risk appetite, define Seller experience (SX) standards, and ensure enforcement strategies balance compliance with Seller advocacy, driving stakeholder and leadership engagement to support regional Seller trust initiatives.
- Understand current and emerging unique challenges faced by Sellers in APAC, defining strategy, execution plans and tracking mechanisms to programmatically scale compliance programs across the APAC stores. Partner with global product and program teams to influence roadmaps.
- Developing and implementing mechanisms to ensure business interdependencies are surfaced and incorporated into tech and product roadmaps.
- Building deep understanding of specific Seller needs, behaviors, economic factors, and legislative/regulatory landscape, and establishing strong relationships with APAC stakeholders to partner on shared goals and regional improvement roadmaps.
- Drive measurable impact on key metrics: Strategic Seller Reinstatement (SSRI), High-Value Listing Enforcements (HVLE), and HVLE False Positives.
- Translate global enforcement strategies into region-specific execution plans at the intersection of policy, product, and business.
- Partner with 3P leaders to scale compliance programs and build deep CN-market expertise to minimize business disruptions while protecting customers and enabling growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 5+ years leading cross-functional programs or projects.
- Bilingual fluency: English and Japanese or English and Chinese (verbal & written) is required to liaise with our counterparts.
- Proven track record influencing senior leadership and driving organizational buy-in.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution in ambiguous environments.
- International travel capability.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Master's/MBA in business, operations, or compliance (preferred).
- SQL and data warehouse knowledge (preferred).
- E-commerce or fast-paced tech experience (preferred).
- Project management certification (preferred).
