Key Responsibilities
- Carries out preliminary studies with the EOP C&T department (regulatory research, summary notes, etc.) on behalf of our clients and network, with the objective of developing services and ensuring compliance with French and foreign legislation.
- Researches the impact of regulatory changes on the existing service offering.
- Promotes the Customs & Fiscal Representation offering within the CEVA group.
- Contributes to the drafting of commercial communication materials, brochures, Fiscal Representation and Customs documentation.
- Participates in the creation of new C&T products.
- Shares best practices as well as customs and tax expertise.
- Monitors regulatory developments within and outside the EU and communicate them to the EOP department when necessary.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in Customs/Tax, Logistics/Commerce or related field.
- Project-based working experience.
- Legal knowledge: Tax and customs law and Customs regulations.
- Ability to collect customer data, prepare commercial offers, perform legal analysis, feasibility and risk analysis.
- English: Fluent. Must master specialized tax and customs vocabulary.
- Second language desired: Must be able to read, write, negotiate, and defend a position.
- Proficiency with standard IT tools: MS Office, Internet, Outlook Express.
- Proficiency in all Internet-related applications: basic research, automated monitoring, document retrieval and transmission, database creation.
