Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues at the system, instrument, and sub-assembly levels
  • Perform structured failure analysis to identify root causes and implement short-term containment and long-term corrective actions for Yield Improvement and Product Quality
  • Conduct component-level troubleshooting on defective PCAs, with emphasis on electronic and RF circuitry
  • Design, refine, and standardize system and module-level test procedures to ensure test integrity while optimizing cycle time
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting methodologies to improve diagnostic accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency
  • Track reliability and quality trends; drive improvements to meet or exceed Agilent’s operational and customer expectations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve OOBD (Out-of-Box Defect) and reliability metrics
  • Collaborate with Production, NPI and R&D Teams to continuously enhance product performance and manufacturing robustness
  • Participate in transitioning designs from prototype to volume manufacturing, ensuring test readiness, manufacturability, and smooth production ramp

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system test, electronic test, or related engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with electronic circuits, system troubleshooting, and defect analysis
  • Proficient with RF and mixed-signal test equipment including spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and LCR meters
  • Solid understanding of: RF circuits and impedance concepts, High-voltage modules, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Discrete electronics and op-amp design, Control systems (PID), Mixed-signal interfaces (ADCs, DACs)
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis (pivot tables, trend charts, statistical analysis)
  • Experience in programming or scripting (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, etc.) is an added advantage
  • Highly motivated, fast learner, and passionate about delivering high-quality products
  • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills across R&D, Manufacturing, and Production
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining attention to detail and timelines
