Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to determine SLT coverage, content, characterization requirements, and root cause resolution for SLT device failures.
- Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents.
- Perform silicon characterization across process, voltage, and temperature.
- Conduct engineering evaluation, test program correlation, and releases for high volume production and enhancement projects.
- Drive Key Performance Indicators such as test time reduction, yield debug, and quality improvement across products.
- Provide overall Test Engineering support for AMD’s SCBU products tested at global facilities.
- Interface between AMD and OSAT for test program implementation and resolution of operational issues.
Requirements
- Solid foundation and interest in APU and PC architecture.
- Proven ability to be a results-oriented engineer with good stakeholder management skills across global teams.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills for a global team setting.
- Technical knowledge in OS kernel, driver, or BIOS firmware is beneficial.
- Demonstrated programming and scripting experience using languages like C, C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, or Python.
- Knowledgeable in version control tools (Git).
- BS/MS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines.
