Key Responsibilities
- Interface with Design Engineering team for the release of new products (NPI) into Manufacturing.
- Evaluate product design for manufacturability and reliability through design reviews and prototype assembly.
- Apply 7-step trouble-shooting methodology to drive learning and standardization of issues.
- Drive continuous improvement across system hardware, diagnostics, software, tooling, and technical documentation to minimize cycle time/quality issues.
- Create ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), structure BOMs, and generate test/assembly documentation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve component/yield/part issues and drive quality improvements.
- Analyze technical issues to propose concepts for standardization and improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing (Entry level candidates with a good academic record are welcomed).
- Understand the working principle of complex electro-mechanical assemblies in high precision defect inspection equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, including setting up experiments and data analysis.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and use precision testing/measuring instruments.
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
