Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal technical authority and strategic advisor for VMware Cloud Foundation and Application Networking & Security technologies
- Drive technical and strategic discussions by providing forward-thinking technical insights and architectural vision to commercial and partner teams
- Advise and lead complex, high-stakes technical engagements including architecture workshops and product roadmap discussions
- Establish VCF as the essential unified cloud platform underpinning customer enterprise-wide digital transformation and modernization initiatives
- Guide and expedite the growth of partners' consulting services practices focused on architecture and implementation for VCF and ANS portfolios
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive technical enablement strategy in conjunction with VCF Enablement and Partner Program teams
- Collaborate with Partner Business Managers and Services Managers to promote, define, and expand the portfolio of partner-led VCF & ANS services for the commercial segment
- Collaborate with Account Directors and partners to promote adoption of VCF and ANS through services entitlement and initiate customer transition to VCF 9.0
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives, translating technical value into clear business outcomes and ROI
- Drive customer usage and implementation of VCF & ANS through services delivered by partners to scale partner services for long-term platform adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree
- Certifications in VMware technologies, cloud-native, public cloud, and networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Red Hat OpenShift, CCIE etc.) are highly desirable
- Experience in consulting/technical sales for cloud/app platforms
- Deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, networking, security, and containers
- Proven success working with customers/partners to deliver technical solutions and drive platform adoption
- Strong communication and presentation skills to engage technical and business leaders
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with sales teams and develop partners
- Ability to identify challenges, design solutions, and articulate business value
- Enthusiastic, self-starting, curious, and thrives in dynamic environments
- Ability to travel up to 50%
