Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for GIDM/Spares supply continuity, readiness, and resiliency at global scale
- Solve complex, multi-variable supply risks including tooling issues, quality escapes, and supply interruptions with minimal guidance
- Lead risk mitigation planning across global sites and supplier networks, driving actions for SSROP, WOS, safety stock, and alternate sourcing
- Own critical GIDM KPIs such as Unplanned Zero Bin, WOS – Non‑BOM, DTWP, PO Excess Management, Zero PO overdue, and Slow Moving
- Lead multi-site improvement projects such as forecasting automation, WOS dashboard enhancement, COO/City cleanup, and supplier portal initiatives
- Drive analytics, mass-update processes, and system enhancements alongside IT, CSM, PDE, Quality, MFG, and suppliers
- Serve as a program leader for digital transformation (Tableau, SAP cleanup, automated reporting, other AI tools)
- Influence and align internal and external stakeholders to resolve high-impact supply issues
- Represent Micron in external supplier negotiations
- Escalate efficiently and execute recovery plans for Spares/IDM categories across regions
- Evaluate long-term financial and operational impacts of planning decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, purchasing, or a related field
- 10~15 years in supply chain/materials management (semiconductor preferred).
- Experience with indirect materials (spares, packaging materials, trays, films, chemicals, tools).
- Strong understanding of planning automation and digital tools.
