Key Responsibilities

  • Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity
  • Participate in new technology development and startup alongside with Research & Development (R&D) fabrication (Fab) site in US
  • Participate in world-wide discussions such as Copy-Smart Team (CST) for continuous improvement on the toolset(s) assigned across Micron Fabs
  • Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization
  • Develop and run projects crafted to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability
  • Partner with the tool suppliers and owners to explore innovative ways of doing things to overcome the challenge of the shrinking technology nodes
  • Support Fab through data analysis, providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes
  • Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools
  • Determine Sampling strategy to meet Production, Process Control and Quality requirement
  • Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
  • Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively
