Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and/or perform breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and calibration activities for production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operations
- Conduct the necessary equipment and tool setup in molding machines to meet production requirements, ensuring optimal performance
- Perform process or equipment troubleshooting and assist the engineering team with validation activities to resolve any operational issues
- Accurately document and record all maintenance and calibration activities as required for production equipment, ensuring full compliance with operational standards
- Adhere to standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5S practices, and Health and Safety policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adapting existing maintenance methods and schedules to improve efficiency and productivity
- Support other departments in ensuring that new projects and equipment are delivered, installed, and maintained on time and to the highest standard
- Perform any other tasks or duties as required to support the team and operations
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems and devices, with the ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings
- Proven experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, ensuring equipment is always in optimal working condition
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and collaborate effectively across teams
- Solid understanding of computer systems, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, both as part of a team and independently
- Proactive self-management with a commitment to completing work to the highest standards, on time and within budget
- Flexibility to work within a varied schedule, depending on production needs
