Key Responsibilities
- Implement environmental programs for air, water, waste, and energy, monitoring compliance with local legislation, GlobalFoundries EHS Standards, and site targets.
- Assess environmental impact and risks of current operations and proposed changes, leading technical investigations and developing mitigation plans.
- Create environmental projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement toward Zero Carbon goals.
- Provide technical advice on environmental engineering, pollution control, testing methods, and regulatory limits.
- Conduct internal and external environmental audits based on ISO 14001, ISO 14064, and local regulations, recommending corrective actions.
- Process large data sets and prepare required regulatory reports.
- Document and maintain environmental plans, procedures, data, and regulatory licenses.
- Promote EHS policies and awareness among employees, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environment, or Technology fields (4 years minimum).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Practical experience within manufacturing industries is required.
- Proven ability to manage environmental compliance for air, water, waste, and energy.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 standards is beneficial for audits.
- Ability to conduct technical investigations and develop solutions for environmental issues.
