Key Responsibilities
- Define, establish, and own a Fab KPI framework including OTD, cycle time (CT), WIP, throughput, and schedule adherence.
- Design and own live operational dashboards with tiered visual management to monitor targets, guardrails, and escalation paths.
- Build capacity models for workcenters using tool states, product mix, and downtime to support medium- and long-range planning.
- Lead fab/layout planning, optimizing bay constraints, tool placement, and material flow to minimize travel and WIP touches.
- Implement MES integration for lot movement policies, WIP caps, and shop-floor visibility.
- Drive digital twin/simulation for scenario planning regarding mix shifts, tool downs, and new line introductions.
- Lead and develop the team while facilitating alignment with cross-functional stakeholders (Ops, Engineering, Equipment, etc.).
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in semiconductor fab planning, Operations, or scheduling.
- Strong command of operations analytics and queueing theory.
- Hands-on experience with MES/APS and simulation tools.
- Data fluency including SQL, Excel/Power Query, or Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
