Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, develop, enhance, debug, support and maintain application framework scripts and systems.
- Perform requirement analysis, mapping design, preparation of technical specifications, programming, code review, job scheduling, unit testing, SIT execution, UAT support, deployment, post‑implementation support, and technical documentation.
- Handle testing, deployment activities, post‑implementation support and ensure completion of all related technical documentation.
- Plan, monitor and manage risks and issues related to technical application delivery, escalate them in a timely manner, and propose workarounds or resolutions.
- Collaborate with Program/Project Managers, Business Analysts, System Analysts and subject matter experts to collate, understand and finalize functional and technical requirements.
- Provide system inputs during the specification phase, including effort estimation, impact assessment and high‑level delivery planning.
- Work with Test Managers to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing and application security testing with quality outcomes.
- Prepare and manage technical implementation plans across application teams and ensure successful production deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 5 years' relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
