Key Responsibilities
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
- Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
- May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
- Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets
- Works in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred)
- Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift
- Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies
- Knowledge of AI tools and application
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools
- Internship or experience gained as equipment technician in the semiconductor industry is a plus
