Key Responsibilities

  • Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
  • Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  • Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
  • Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets
  • Works in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred)
  • Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift
  • Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies
  • Knowledge of AI tools and application
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools
  • Internship or experience gained as equipment technician in the semiconductor industry is a plus
