Key Responsibilities
- Process and perform integrative analysis on omics datasets, including metagenomics, metabolomics, meta transcriptomics, and proteomics.
- Set up bioinformatics tools/workflows and develop applications using R Shiny, Python Dash, or Matlab.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and plan subsequent research steps.
- Draft, submit, and revise manuscripts for publication.
- Perform general data and server housekeeping.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics.
- Strong analytical and programming skills (Python, R, Perl, or Matlab).
- Proficiency in UNIX environment.
- Broad experience with modeling, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
