Key Responsibilities
- Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.
- Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
- Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
- Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
- Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades. Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.
- Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.
- Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
- Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
- Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.
Requirements
- Master's/Bachelor's/advanced degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
- Experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments is preferred
- Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards. Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools is advantageous.
