Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy systems in both public and private cloud
- Involve in the installation, configuration, and upgrade of IT Infrastructure requirements during project implementation
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions, server, storage, and network in accordance with best practices
- Work closely with vendors, application developers and other teams to implement new systems
- Support projects in accordance with technical design specification
- Coordinate projects for portion related to IT Infrastructure
- Track and manage project change requests
- Assist in projects updates, task list and procurement related process
- Assist in user acceptance test, project documentation and document sign-off
- Troubleshoot complex issues and document solutions
- Preparing technical documents and user guides for the IT operations team
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Computer/Information Science
- 2+ years of experience with implementing and managing cloud environments (Azure / AWS cloud)
- 2+ years of experience in operations and administration in Enterprise datacentre / virtualized data centre
- Related technology certification preferred: Azure Cloud certification MCSA/RHCT Server+, Network+, or Security+ certification
- Experience supporting one or all the following: Enterprise Systems – O365 Exchange Online, Dynamics 365, Active Directory, etc.
- Understanding of operating systems including, but not limited to: Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 Red Hat Linux / CentOS Linux
- Infrastructure related services such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSL and SSH
- ITIL foundation certification is an added advantage (ITIL v4)
- Strong understanding of Azure, AWS or GCP cloud technologies
- Experience with Virtualization technologies and Server Hardening
- Experience in deploying High Availability solutions on new systems and database
- Experience in creation of user guides and documentations
- Ability to provide and suggest IT solutions based on best practices
- Good understanding of ITIL processes including Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure in terms of cloud solutions, server, storage, backup and network
- Has a knowledge of Windows and Unix servers and network management principles
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
