Key Responsibilities

  • Drive concepts, plans and processes to effectively maintain, operate and sustain NSM Systems operated by SMRT TRAINS
  • Drive system-level integration of new capabilities on all Transport & Trainer platform types operated by SMRT TRAINS
  • Direct development of robust and effective maintenance concepts for all NSM Systems operated by SMRT TRAINS
  • Provide advice for all life cycle support, supply chain management and system management of NSM Systems operated by SMRT TRAINS
  • Strategize and drive development of Integrated Product Support Plan with the Project Team
  • Oversee resource planning to optimize system availability by maintaining holistic overview of supply chain requirements
  • Work with SMRT BUs to develop obsolescence management strategies for sustainable support of intended service life
  • Spearhead development of Integrated Product Support Plan for all NSM Systems projects or acquisition programs
  • Ensure holistic planning and management of Transport & Trainer platform induction through Life Cycle Management framework

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree
  • 5 - 8 years of prior relevant experience in maintenance environment
  • Prior operational experience in 1st line (Organisational / frontline) maintenance
  • Prior operational experience in 2nd line (Intermediate / workshop) maintenance
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Prior knowledge of Reliability Engineering (e.g., MTBF, MTTR)
  • Prior knowledge in Management Information System (MIS) such as SAP or Maximo
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop affinity with various stakeholders
  • Experience in Maintenance Repair Process, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), or Spares Modelling is a plus
