Key Responsibilities

  • Operate integrated refinery safe, reliable and efficient.
  • Take on the role of Site Incident Controller (SIC) and lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) to mitigate emergency situations.

  • Conduct objective performance appraisals and quarterly performance reviews for NEXBTL shift team members.
  • Lead NEXBTL operations Task Risk Assessments and approve permits to work.
  • Manage administrative work such as leave system, Hugo, logging sheets, and J5 handovers.

Requirements

  • Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 3 years of supervisory experience OR Higher NITEC with 5 years of supervisory experience OR GCE ‘O’ level with 8 years of supervisory experience.
  • 10~15 years in Oil/Gas and/or Petrochemical industry or previous experience as (deputy) supervisor.
  • Availability for shift duties (12 hours, 2-2-3 pattern).
  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make independent technical decisions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and HSE teams.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to work under pressure during plant shutdowns or urgent troubleshooting.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to pass a health examination including a drug test and obtain security clearance.
