Key Responsibilities
- Perform measurement activities using established recipes to provide quick and accurate feedback on product integrity.
- Operate inspection and metrology tools to support defect detection using the latest innovative inspection technologies.
- Collect and organize measurement and defect data for engineer review.
- Conduct routine monitoring using Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts according to defined tool qualification criteria.
- Follow sampling methodologies to proactively identify deviations in machinery and processes and escalate abnormalities promptly.
- Support Engineers and Engineering Operations in tool maintenance schedules, tool recovery, and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Execute first level equipment and system troubleshooting.
- Perform internal preventive and corrective maintenance to Metrology and Realtime Defect Analysis tools.
- Assist engineers with data gathering and preliminary checks during defect source investigations and defectivity improvement projects.
- Provide accurate data summaries when supporting Fab related process analysis and equipment availability improvement efforts.
- Generate first pass data analysis for tool or process commonalities and root cause analysis.
- Support ongoing projects aimed at improving inline detection, reducing tool measurement variability, improving efficiency, and increasing tool availability.
Requirements
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or related fields.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Candidates with experience in semiconductor fabrication processes are preferred.
