Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to plan, prepare and execution of events related to Operations including operations resource planning for designated unit(s). Events are defined as: Turn-arounds (TA), Major Unit Shut-Downs (SD), Major maintenance activities i.e. Tank-inspections, (Pre)Commissioning and initial start-up of capital investment projects
- Back-up Event team member in Turn-arounds and Unit Shut-downs
- Responsible and monitoring TA/SD execution and instruct shift teams accordingly and reporting progress
- Liaison of Operations to 3rd parties/suppliers related to operations support for preparing and execution of Turn-arounds and Shut-downs assigned by Operations Event Lead
- Responsible (within Operations) for optimizing the Shut-down & Start-up Schedule
- Responsible for creating New NMS that optimize Turnaround & Shut Down
- Responsible for review of Shift Team Operations Shut Down Instruction to ensure all the scope are covered in the instructions
- Responsible to communicate and train shift teams related to events
- Work closely with all Internal & External stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make independent technical decisions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; able to collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and HSE teams
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technicians
- Ability to work under pressure during plant shutdowns or urgent troubleshooting
