Key Responsibilities
- Design advanced layout solutions that enable the achievement of industry leading Space Efficiency and Wafer Output
- Manage early stage layout analysis to determine the most suitable locations for technology deployment
- Lead a global network of Layout teams across multiple geographic locations to achieve best in class performance
- Drive global collaboration and alignment of Layout practices through the establishment of a Layout Copy Smart Team, maintain and track global layout metrics, and provide future forecasts
- Drive layout innovation by establishing the latest tool design/layout practices and adhere to the usage of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
- Collaborate with process equipment teams to establish next generation tool designs that enable optimal cleanroom and sub-fab layout opportunities
- Provide individual site layout support to enable the achievement of business objectives
- Promote a culture of health and safety by evaluating practices, procedures, and designs to ensure we are executing to required safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
- 10 Years of recent Semiconductor experience specifically focused in fab layout, Industrial Engineering or equivalent Fab disciplines
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Direct experience with Green Field fab design and proven track record or improving production tool space density and wafer output
- Knowledgeable in Autodesk AutoCAD 2022 or higher
- Proven track record of managing process tool placement that maximizes fab output by reducing cross fab transportation requirements and tool idle time
- Five years' experience leading projects
- Project Management Professional PMP Certification is preferred but not required
