Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, monitor, and optimize enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS) and backup/recovery solutions for multi-platform infrastructures.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including root-cause analysis.
  • Perform routine backup validation tasks to guarantee data recoverability.
  • Execute firmware and software upgrades for the storage and backup infrastructure.
  • Conduct storage capacity planning exercises to accommodate future growth.
  • Oversee vendor and contract management for maintenance coverage and support agreements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely incident response and ensure service continuity.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise storage, backup, and file server administration.
  • Degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science & Technology/Electronic & Computer Engineering/Information & Computer Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Object Store).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms (Dell, HPE).
  • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery technologies (Veeam, Networker).
  • Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux file servers.
