Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of automation and automated testing frameworks using tools such as TOSCA, Perfecto Scriptless, Co-Pilot and QuerySurge.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, and ensure adherence to the bank's quality processes, tools and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in testing and automation, including collaboration with the bank's Testing Centre of Excellence (TCOE).
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts library.
  • Contribute to the testing strategy for projects to align to changing delivery paradigms.
  • Provide forward thinking, strategic input into WORC as they refine and refresh multi-year strategic plans.
  • Establish practical design approaches and standards through research, evaluation, and proof-of-concept activities and ensures quality through design and code review.
  • Provide support for regional WORC teams.
  • Lead human resource planning, development, and staff management for the automation team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools (TOSCA, Perfecto Scriptless, Co-Pilot, QuerySurge).
  • Proven track record in leading transformation of UAT into continuous quality engineering.
  • Excellent understanding of banking domain and wholesale banking operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in managing regional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
