Key Responsibilities
- Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.
- Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
- Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.
- Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.
- Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.
- Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.
- Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.
- Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.
- Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.
- Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools is advantageous.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and project management skills, fluent in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facilities systems.
