Key Responsibilities
- Work with collaborators across the Biomedical Manufacturing Pillar ecosystem to establish strategic collaborative R&D partnerships and business deals.
- Generate leads, prospect new businesses by networking, or through other means of generating interest from potential clients.
- Track industry trends and competitor activities to enhance R&D and industry engagement roadmap.
- Take ownership of customer accounts, manage and strengthen relationships with executive C/B-level stakeholders. Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities for growth, negotiate and close business deals.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with industry leaders, trade associations and agencies. Lead conversations with customers to capture business and technical requirements to provide proposals for projects.
- Create and implement business plans, prepare and conduct commercial growth presentations.
- Lead translation of research outcomes to industry adoption.
- Drive or support the preparation of industry proposals and funding submissions.
- Ensure high-quality documentation and timely delivery of all business development materials.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams in proposal development, budgeting, and project planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, industry engagement, or technology commercialisation.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers.
- Professional presentation and communication skills for management level audience, both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude, resilient and agile, quick to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
