Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation software solutions supporting factory operations, including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling, and in-house equipment automation
  • Work closely with site manufacturing teams to understand operational needs and develop automated scheduling solutions that improve productivity, cycle time, and system efficiency
  • Collaborate with global factory automation teams to enable and integrate autonomous mobile robot solutions for automated material delivery within the factory
  • Partner with global equipment and automation groups to develop, enhance, and support in-house equipment automation, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvement using data analysis, system monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g., dashboards and reports)
  • Support day-to-day production operations by troubleshooting automation systems, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Perl and/or Python, SQL, and web technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS), with demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new programming languages and frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux), including system usage, scripting, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment, data processing, or infrastructure usage
  • Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience or practical exposure to AI and Machine Learning techniques is an advantage
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through teamwork, collaboration, or involvement in activities beyond academic coursework
