Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to company's environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and policy when performing work
- Ensuring implementation of systems and procedures required to attain department goals and objectives
- Managing resources as necessary to achieve desired goals and objectives
- Detail understanding of design philosophy/concept of Facilities utilities systems to manufacturing production tools.
- Oversee all stages of cleanroom tool hook-up, including pre-installation planning, equipment rigging, placement, and utility connections such as bulk and specialty gases, chemicals, ultra-pure water, exhaust, power, and chilled water.
- Collaborate closely with facility engineers, equipment vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of tools into the fabrication infrastructure. This includes coordination regarding wall penetrations, structural supports, ductwork, piping, conduit, and other interfacing requirements. Review and authorize hookup designs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for tool installations, track project progress, communicate status updates to senior management, and proactively address delays or challenges as they arise. Manage cleanroom-related projects, including upgrades and expansion initiatives.
- Ensure all tool installations and operations adhere to cleanroom protocols, environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, and relevant industry standards. Conduct quality and safety inspections following installation to verify compliance.
- Plan and execute equipment hookup for new, conversion, unhooking and relocation tools, to meet high quality standard, dynamic schedule and forecasted budget
- Plan, track and update utilities database to support manufacturing production tools
- Plan and track capital and expense expenditure related to tool install
- Review and approve equipment hookup drawing
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience on M&E and Wafer Fab Hook Up/Tool Installations with good technical knowledge in Facilities systems
- Must have project management experience.
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in automation and programming skills is a plus
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels, and good and presentation skills.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
