Key Responsibilities

  • Perform R&D work related to powder forming technologies, including powder compaction, slurry casting, injection moulding, extrusion, and additive manufacturing.
  • Design experiments and optimize heat treatment processes for powder-formed parts to ensure reliable debinding, sintering, and densification.
  • Implement advanced material analysis methods (SEM, EDX, XRD, mechanical testing) for microstructure and property characterization.
  • Design and develop innovative materials and processes for new powder forming technologies and emerging applications.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentation slides, publications, and patents to disseminate R&D findings.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions on joint research projects.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal and/or ceramic forming related work.
  • Strong expertise in powder forming processes (compaction, injection moulding, slurry casting, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in heat treatment techniques such as sintering.
  • Excellent hands-on skills in powder forming processes and characterization (metallurgical samples preparation, microscopy, mechanical testing).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
