Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and file accounting-related documents in a timely manner, suggesting improvements to data collection processes.
- Accurately input data into the accounting system and maintain client general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayment entries, and other manual journal entries while reconciling accounts monthly.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing for Accounts Receivable.
- Manage payment processing and monitoring of Accounts Payable.
- Compile and provide necessary financial or transactional information and data upon request.
- Be seconded to client offices as needed to assist with the accounting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable professional qualification.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting-related role.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including GAAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including extensive Excel knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
