Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing research projects by executing day-to-day experimental work under senior staff guidance.

- Assist with molecular and bacteriological investigations into antimicrobial resistance mechanisms using techniques like multiplex PCR, RT-PCR, and whole-genome sequencing.
- Conduct immunological studies such as flow cytometry and cytokine profiling to understand host-pathogen interactions.
- Maintain meticulous records of experimental data in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems, contributing to reproducibility.
- Support bacterial culture, handling, and storage of isolates following strict biosafety guidelines.
- Assist with general lab operations including media preparation, reagent inventory tracking, and equipment maintenance.
- Contribute to the development of figures and internal reports that support manuscript preparation for publication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in microbiology, immunology, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Practical laboratory experience in microbiology, immunology, or molecular biology.
- Proven ability to follow established protocols accurately and maintain detailed experimental records.
