Key Responsibilities

  • The Human Systems (HS) Division strengthens Singapore’s defence by developing capabilities in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear defence, human factor engineering, and behavioural science.
  • We protect against chemical and biological warfare and enhance the safety and performance of the Singapore Armed Forces.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and implement new or revise safety policies, SOPs and guidelines to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, statutory regulations, and organisation policies
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities (MOM, NEA, PUB, etc.) on WSH regulatory matters
  • Coordinate the import, export or trans-shipment of controlled chemicals

Requirements

  • (WSQ) Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
  • MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
  • SCDF certified Fire Safety Manager
  • Experience with regulatory inspections and audits is highly desirable
