Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new equipment start up, liaise with vendors, to acceptance of equipment for production
  • Plan, organize and implement technical support and expertise on specific tools to Assistant Maintenance Engineers and Technicians
  • Establish CM procedures and troubleshooting guides to allow efficient troubleshooting
  • Establish PM procedures to achieve best possible Preventive Maintenance efficiency without compromising quality
  • Provide training to Assistant Maintenance Engineers, Technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge
  • Establish critical equipment spares, consumables stock levels to support equipment recovery time
  • Translates the requirements of Production and Engineering needs into maintenance tasks and work closely with them to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters
  • Participate in cost reduction projects to maintain cost efficiency
  • Generate regular Equipment downtime pareto reports and analyzing for any chronic/repeated issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in Wet Equipment including Spray solvent tool, Wet bench modular tanks and different types of drying mechanism
  • Good knowledge in reading and analyzing electrical schematic and block diagrams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to teamwork within and with other departments
  • Familiar with Microsoft office applications
  • Good knowledge in statistical tools, problem solving tools, FMEA and 8D
  • Knowledge in PLC programming will be an added advantage
