Key Responsibilities
- Own and resolve application issues, engaging additional technical or functional resources as necessary
- Collaborate with the lab management operations & cross functional teams to apply solutions by analyzing business and functional requirements, studying and creatively leveraging standard procedures
- Play an active role in supporting equipment maintenance compliance
- Monitor and resolve system integrity issues
- Analyze problems, diagnose them and find root cause, and then either creating a fix or engages business solutions team to collaboratively design a solution
- Proactively analyzes incident records and use data to identify problems
- Identify and propose approach to increase usability
- Maintain active communication with various business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionality
Requirements
- Solid understanding of equipment lifecycle operations
- Background with SAP is a bonus
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Hands-on person with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to place questions and problems in the proper context
- Ability to address problems logically, carefully, and methodically
- Persistence to pursue problems until they are solved, but also the good judgment to know when to stop and ask questions
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills with global workforce
- Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates
- Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree Engineering / Science / Information Technology / Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- Diploma in Engineering / Science / Information Technology / Supply Chain with at least 3 - 5 years Relevant Experience
