Key Responsibilities
- Run inorganic analytical testing like acid digestion, preparing standard solutions, and running pre-set and/or new methods on instruments such as ICP-MS, IC and other wide range inorganic analysis.
- Records raw experimental data and prepares spreadsheets for a review. Performs data analysis, interpreting and identifying substances and/or properties in material complexes.
- Develop and validate new inorganic analytical methods for various samples.
- Acts as a subject matter expert who can design experiments/testing and troubleshoot complex instrumental failures and challenging data processing.
Requirements
- Several years working experience with wide competence in inorganic analytics would be required.
- Hands-on experience experience in inorganic chemistry, method development, and solid/liquid materials characterization techniques including but not limited to;
- Practical experience in wet chemistry: proficiency in titrations, gravimetric analysis, and complex acid digestions (e.g., microwave or hot plate).
- Very good understanding in inorganic chemistry, chemical instrumentation and chemical analytics, method validation and R&D project work.
