Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Process Engineers in troubleshooting wafer-level process deviations, defects, and equipment abnormalities.
  • Perform initial containment actions including tool checks, recipe verification, and wafer disposition.
  • Conduct root-cause information gathering using tool history checks, SPC charts, and equipment logs.
  • Run DOE wafers according to engineering specifications and maintain precise parameter control.
  • Perform data collection using metrology and inspection tools such as SEM, optical microscopes, profilometry, ellipsometry, and CD measurements.
  • Compile experimental and production data into structured logs and engineering reports.
  • Operate process tools in modules including lithography, deposition, etch, CMP, diffusion, or wafer bonding.
  • Execute engineering lots and verifications outside of normal production flows while adhering to strict cleanroom protocols.

Requirements

  • Hands-on aptitude in a fabrication environment.
  • Analytical ability to support process recovery steps after excursions.
  • Familiarity with data collection and trend analysis in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to operate within strict safety, contamination control, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Attention to detail in documenting run conditions and equipment settings.
